The Ion Age presents an article all about the Barony of Malmsbury with an account of this faction in the Prydian Civil War and how to use it in Patrol Angis. Additionally this month there is 25% off the now resin kit of the 15mm Havelock Battlesuit (supplied now with six weapons)(shown in the image) get it at this price until end of September. Miniatures in the article are from the collection of Sam Croes including the Havelock. Enjoy and thanks. GBS

I like the style of the pilot, too. The helmet with kepi-type lid there, with the body armor – all around cool model!

I only wish that battlesuit came in more poses. The colour scheme is very striking, though. I’m seeing muster troopers in a new light after having seen that paintjob. Good background story, too.

Thanks chaps for the kind words. We do our best on our budget and I am glad you like it.

I didn’t mean to sound cranky about the single pose, sorry 🙂
The battlesuit is an excellent model and I’ll be getting a few of them sooner or later.

No insult taken my friend. People shoot the shit out of my life’s work every day without thinking so I don’t take it personally any time. As it is you will get 25% off this month and have ten days left on the offer.

Plus the 10% September discount offer I got with my last order, so I may just go for it, but I’ll have to keep mulling it over for now. An alternative approach I’m considering is getting just one Havelock but multiple Steornedes instead, having the Havelock represent more of a unique leader character (I should point out that in terms of rules I’m not tying myself down to Patrol Angis / Callsign Taranis at the moment, although I’ll probably buy and read those rulesets at some point).

Yes you would have gotten that as a customer last month. The Steornedes idea is a nice one. Certainly use any rules you like but I can only comment on our own ones for force compositions; the idea would be possible in Patrol Angis though. Hope to hear from you soon.
