Do you have the 15mm Panda’s in the China range ????And if so how can I buy them in the USA ?????

Greetings. Yes, the pandas are part of the China collection set, which you can see here http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/chcoset.html . I do not have them separate as the whole set was sculpted as part of a fund raising effort to bring our little boy home from China this fall. You can read more about what is going on there in the link I left above. Thanks!

Mike,
Great question. My wife and I are Christians and both felt the Lord calling us to look into adoption despite having three biological children already. My wife’s sister is adopted so it has been something she is passionate about for a while as well. We initially thought about a domestic newborn but the wait can be 3-5 years, which potentially puts us both at 45. Not so fun to imagine newborn and diapers at 45.
Also, my son, who is the oldest would really love a little brother to go with his 2 sisters. Also, we have heard that maintaining the birth order is very important so we needed to look younger than 3.5 years old. My wife read about the number of special needs boys in China (I think 75% of the available orphans in China are boys!). The more we read, the more excited we got about the prospect of getting a little guy from China, especially as the wait is more like 1-1.5 years as opposed to 3-5.
There are some other aspects as well but those are some of the main ones. We are really excited to learn more about Chinese culture and history and plan on getting involved with some of the groups in the area that celebrate Chinese holidays and cultural events so that Caleb can learn about his heritage. Thanks for asking.

Mike, are you asking why adopt from China? I was curious as well, and the answer is complex, but includes the fact that 2/3 of the orphans in the world (100 million out of 150 million) ARE in China, and also that American adoption often takes years longer. Since the McBrides have three kids now (oldest is 9) it makes sense to add the 4th while they still are in parenting mode.
