You heard it here first. The 25/28mm Testudo range of Teutonic Knights and Germans is now on clearance at 25% off. We are no longer able to re-stock these items, so they have to go to make room for new stock!
We've hit our £2000 stretch goal target, so Charlie is now unlocked! Thanks again to everyone who has pledged so far.
She will be added FREE to any 'FULL SQUAD' pledges and will be available for selection on all other pledge levels.
As an extra bonus, we will now be adding FREE BASES to every pledge level. Lasercut from 2mm MDF, we'll have either 20mm or 25mm widths, in either square or circular options. (If some folk need a different size, I'm sure we can sort that out!)
Next up is the £2500 stretch goal where we'll be unlocking Ghost. I'll also send out another update in the next few days about furhter stretch goals, where we'll be unlocking some handy scenery items.
Every year we raise money for Save the Children through our IRON MAN event, a 24 hour paintathon after which we donate the figures we have painted for auction. Many more pics are on the auction listing and our facebook page.
This FoW army was kindly provided by Battlefront, with tufts and sprays provided by Great Escape Games, and painted in a day by Stuart McC and Mark M at Firestorm Games in Cardiff.
It consists of:
6 Tiger I's
5 Panzer IV's
4 x 105mm gun battery
Infantry platoon (7 bases)
Recce platoon (7 bases plus 3 halftracks)
Tank hunter team (3 bases)
The painters have 50 years of experience between them and this army, despite the short amount of time it took, is painted to a good standard with all of the bases finished off in a careful and detailed manner, and with the miniatures finished with Testor's Dullcote. The infantry is painted according to uniform type so smocks were painted in tan water camo and the vehicles were all airbrushed in three part camo.
The force comprises about 2400 pts in Flames of War. It consists of plastic, metal and resin and would cost about £150 in the shops unpainted.
If you have any questions, please ask.
100% of the money raised goes to Save the Children, so please dig deep.
