    John,

    You’re killing me!!!

Here are some of mine.  They are from Flashpoint Miniatures, and the proprietor, Jimmi, is FANTASTIC!!!  Here’s the link to my photos:
    http://blackhawkhet.blogspot.com/2015/12/flashpoint-miniatures-15mm-vietnam-era.html

And here’s the link to Jimmi’s website:

I’ve gotten lots of stuff from Jimmi, here’s a few more shots, just for fun:

    Mechanical Mule and dog.

    More M-14s.

    A bunch of terrain.

    And some ANZACs.

    Hope this helps.

    V/R,
    Jack

Huh…I am old..and didn’t remember you posting about these…they look ok…the flakjacket doesn’t seem right next to the photos of the Marines at Hue. But that could just be me.

    Thanks Jack…..did I say I was old….

Yup, I’d say Flashpoint has just about the best 15mm USMC with M14s.  Have a whole slew of them!  And as Jack said, Jimmi is just a great guy!  I think you can get them from ScaleCreep as well, if you don’t want to get direct from Oz.

I second the recommendation for Flashpoint, but Scale Creep doesn’t have any Marines with M14s…I know because I bought them back in January when SC was reducing their FP inventory!

    John,

Don’t look right? Are you talking about the plate panels on the lower half of the flak jackets (in real life)? Yeah, I suppose they don’t have that, they’re smooth, but I haven’t seen any in that do in 15mm (maybe not in any scale?).

And as far as I’ve seen, these are the only 15mm troops with M-14s. In any case, they’re good enough for me, I really like them and will get them on the table (again) soon.

I was hoping the flakjackets would look more baggy..how ever since Darryl Smith bought Scale Creep out, it’s kinda moot.  Guess I’ll just use my BF figures.

What’s wrong with ordering from Flashpoint? I’ve done it several times, get my stuff in about three weeks.

I do not have Paypal or a Credit card. I know the guy at Scale Creep Miniatures and can send him a check.  The other reason is I’m broke right now.

Well, being broke kinda renders the whole thing moot 😉

Id imagine Flashpoint would take a check, just contact Jimmi.  I might even vouch for ya 😉

Hell, I know you’ve got dough, look at all the Battlefront stuff you’ve got!

Anyway, quit screwing around, I just posted a batrep!

Oh yeah the last stuff I bought for Team Yankee was 4 Leopard 1’s from QRF via Scale Creep Miniatures back in Dec.

Vietnam gaming forum, mostly tabletop (though a few years ago I ran a play-by-post roleplaying game on the old version of the forum)
