Cold war has gone hot, in 1965 after a year of fighting central Europe is a nuclear wasteland. And both sides are almost spent the Soviets are just a few km from Paris, but NATO is stopping them.
The sovjets have done a thurst into northern France and occupied Dunkirk hoping to control air and shipping coming from Brtian.

NATO has put together a special task force to capture Soviet general Piotr Alaxandrovich who is commander of the northern front. A frontal assault by the few remaining NATO tanks in the area supported by Huey gunships and obsolete F86s. Will draw the heavy Soviet forces out of Dunkirk while 96 specially trained troops are landed close to the city behind the Russian front.
