What a way to create a game scenario!

The passing comment

…as much to break the ice as to damage the defenders…

had me thinking that this is:

• A crafty way to restrict movement and / or limit it to one troop type.
• A possible crafty way to introduce troops behind (or smack in the middle of) enemy lines.
• A quick way to exfiltrate troops (assuming they could swim)
• A possible way to extract small cargo containers etc

It’s an aspect I didn’t exploit as much as I could have. But Ali does have some frogmen figures and had Toby got any of them printed and painted, they too could have made an appearance 🙂

I think that was the opinion of the defenders as well when they saw the amphibians appear over the edge of the ice sheet 🙂
