One of the games run at last month’s meeting of the DWG was an Indian Mutiny Skirmish game using ‘The Men Who Would be Kings’.

John has a wonderful collection of figures that really help capture the feel for this period.

If you would like to see how the game played out, then just follow the link to the club blog.

Really inspiring stuff!  I’m at the lovely point where I’m trying to decide on my next project, as I’m nearing the end of my current one.

Indian mutiny has been on my radar for a bit now and your game has me thinking about it.  Admittedly, the Vendean rebellion and the Lombard duchies are also in the running.

Decisions!  Decisions!  Thanks for sharing, and making my choices more difficult!  😉

I did some Indian Mutiny using Sharp Practice and really enjoyed it. The period seems to suit the smaller scale and individual derring-do…  plus.. Flashman.

I also managed to do it very cheaply using the AWS figures purchased during their 30% off pre-Christmas sale.  😀

Then of course I wanted to add Gurkhas and Highlanders and Sikhs…  so I had to add to the Indians..  and it all got a bit out of hand…
