During a clear out a few of weeks ago I found a box full of my old Garrison 25mm figures that have lain unused and unseen for about 35 years. They were bought for a club campaign that never really got started. After dusting and washing them I decided to refurbish the paintwork. This was not as easy as I thought but I found or mixed colours that were close enough.
They came from the Garrison Sword and Sorcery Range. The units have some damaged figures and other figures converted to be officers or a random figure used as an officer.
I cannot remember buying any archers to support them so if anyone has any suitably sized figures from the Garrison Sword and Sorcery range I’d be interested in purchase or exchange see http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Sword_and_Sorcery
SS43 Tarun Immortal with SS45 Tarun Standard Bearer
SS49 Vanha Pikeman
SS51 Vanha Guard
SS51Vanha Guard with plumes removed
Northmen – Painted in blues as befits the denizens of the frozen north (they were mercenaries)
SS4 Northman with Mace
SS9 Northman with axe.
Amazing collection, I remember seeing them years ago but never owned any.

Thanks for the kind words. I regret never buying the archers, cavalry and a commander for the army. I’ll keep searching at bring and buys and on ebay.
Charming stuff!
Simple, but evocative of something that I think ‘fancier’ figures miss.
Lovely looking figures you can’t beat the classics.
I wonder if this site helps I think he sells Garrison figures?
They bring back memories.
