As we are now approaching the end of the month of May, it’s that time of year when thoughts turn to THE Wargaming event of the year. I am, of course, talking about the incomparable Joy of Six 2019!
For reasons which remain obscure to even me, JOS continues to grow and the line-up for 2019 only goes to show this in action. We have more traders than ever before. This year attendees will be able to lighten their pockets and fill their bags at the following trade stands:

And with more requests for spaces coming in, I expect that list to grow before the show. In addition to all of this, we’ll have a Bring and Buy and that that maestro of small scale brushwork, Dr Mike will once again be opening his painting clinic to all-comers.
Add to all of this, cheap local parking, very convenient public transport links, nearby hotels and the best catering on the show circuit, there really is no excuse to miss this show.
Not into 6mm? Come along anyway if only to see why 6mm gamers are so passionate about what they do. You can get in for free on a ‘6mm Sceptic’ ticket and it will be a cheap day for you as there won’t be any discounted boxes of 28mm plastics or burnt mdf buildings for you spend money on.
The Joy of Six 2019 will be taking place on Sunday 7th July at Sheffield Hallam University, Howard Street

Now if all that was not enough excitement, on the day prior to the show, (Saturday 6th July for those of you who haven’t been keeping up), we’ll be holding our annual Baccus Open Day. This is where the dark portals of Baccus Megacorp Industries are flung asunder and we offer tours around what has jokingly been called a ‘manufacturing facility’. It is a great way to see behind the scenes, to see how we do what we do and perhaps get some sneak previews of what is to come in the way of new releases in the coming months.
