Both are young ladies. Thorrun is keen to prove her worth, although too keen, which means she seems to often put herself and her friends in danger. She needs some lessons from Brynhildr, who is much calmer with her huge axe, but more deadly.
Jarl Letty is the the most fearsome Warlor- WarLADY in the North. Foreigners may mock the hordes led by a “tiny girl”, but they aren’t laughing when her cunning and natural flair for warfare has them begging for their lives. Whilst her peers are playing in the mud and chasing chickens, Letty prefers the company of the ale swilling warriors, though she herself quietly sips goat’s milk and prepares for her next raid.
Both out now, go get em ...cowboys?
All sculpted by Alan Marsh (what a guy!) and painted by Paul Cubbin (also a guy!)
Share, share, tell your friends! Tell your mum! Tell the bus driver!
Charles, the Giant Capybara. Sculpted by Jo Brumby and cast in high quality resin, this chap is cool as a cucumber. Why so big? Well he is made for 28mm gaming, but at a larger than life size, this is so he can be used as………… a mount! A standard size Capybara would be a bit awkward, like riding an Alsatian. He stands a proud 28mm from the bottom of the foot to tip of the ear.
Capybara available now, guinea piggles hopefully some pre-release at Derby Worlds...
The story of Phoolan Devi, AKA The Indian Robin Hood or The Bandit Queen is remarkable. Brought up in poverty and following a series of horrific abuse at the hands of many men, she exacted brutal revenge once in charge of her own gang. After handing herself into the police, she was pardoned and set upon a political career with the aim to improve the life of those in the lower castes. She was assassinated in 2001 outside her own home. Definitely one to read more about.
Sculpted by Przemysław Szymczyk and cast in high quality resin (one peice) this is a brilliant tribute, that will be a great hobby project for the cabinet or mantlepeice. Stayed tuned for more 1/10 scale busts of Super Excellent Women from History by Bad Squiddo Games.
Good Morning! Just a brief update about a couple of things.
The Bad Squiddo line of ladies has been having some stock issues, basically brought on by good things - you awesome folk buying too many! Of course, there isn't a "too many". I have currently just started with two extra casting companies who should be able to get us all back fully stocked and on track to more greatness! It's been difficult sorting this over the summer as it feels like everybody I've been trying to contact has been on holiday!
I have a huge pile of amazing new figures I want to release, but I am waiting until everything is back and those orders are fullfilled before I get them out (sensibly!), so as soon as Operation Back On Track is complete, we can start Operation New Shiny Excellence.
SOVIET LMG! They are coming! They are the priority and being shipped out today for a production mould, so fingers crossed available very soon!
NEW WEBSITE! Finally! The wheels are spinning for a new website. In around 2-3 months we should see a brand new shiny website. The postage will change - it will be weight based so overseas will go up on certain items, though I will still keep it as low as I can. No more "have you clicked the pound thing", and all the usual features you get already from everyone else! It will just be much much better, easier to find the things you want and overall smoother.
Right, I have a bucketload of things to get on with, cheers!
