I had plenty of time on m hands so, on the spur of the moment, I set up a table and had a solo game of Dragon Rampant. I already had a couple of 42pt lists ready so I put out the armies and let them go toe to toe (or toe to claw).

I had the evil Black Maugwr, in the guise of a giant werewolf, invading the lands of the Erlking with an army of orcs & ogres. They faced elfin spears & bows, woodland folk and faerie spells lead by the Rosy Knight astride the Dragon Blueflame. I did a full write up on my blog at: https://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2020/07/a-battle-in-forest.html

Thanks Nic. I’m having trouble trying to figure out the basing for Fantastic Battle with my 28mm stuff. What I think I’ll do is add some fantasy elements to go with my ancient Greek/Macedonian stuff (I have both 15mm & 6mm). I have 15mm  Romans  too so maybe something along the lines of a Hyperborean setting would work.

Those are nicely painted minis. Your basing looks great.
