I started a ‘Greek myth’ project a while ago. It’s currently on hold but I thought I might as well start a thread to show the the work I did up to that point. Perhaps it will inspire me to continue!
Anyhoo, first up is a bunch of GW beastmen from eBay converted into satyrs:

Wow, I can see from the blog how much work went into these, but the results were definitely worth it!
If you want to show us more conversion magic (which I’d really like to see), how about the idea working up a unit of the traditional Greek horse-featured satyrs? (the Romans conflated them with their own goat-feature fauns):
I found another red figure horse-type satyr armed, interestingly, as a peltast, but hesitated to post it here, as another, um, “feature” common to satyrs was on somewhat prominent display.Next up, it’s a set of Victrix Hoplites:

After my first visit to Salute this year, I decided to start up this project again. Here are some more skeletons, from Bears Head Miniatures.
Although taller, they mix well with the old Citadel plastic skellybobs:

These ‘men of bronze’ are minions to go with my as-yet-unpurchased Talos model. They didn’t look very promising to start with but they turned out OK in the end.
