    We have added a unit of Steppe noble cavalry to our ranges, they were designed to be allies of our Late Sassanids but given their nature they cold be used for a whole load of different armies. 28mm in white metal available as a unit of 12, packs of 3 mounted figures or packs with just the riders and their equipment(horses available in their own packs as well).

    Great looking figures, nice style too, chunky without being too plump and good consistency throughout the ranges which is a big plus in my book

    These are great additions – now if you could use the same ‘basic figures’ with earlier armour and no stirrups they would make fantastic Sarmatians!

    I think they might fit in as they are as Border Thematics for my 10th century Byzantines.

    Keith, what period Byzantines do you plan to release?

    Our thoughts are to start with Justinian and move along as far as we can. This will be a huge task given the time span and changes involved. The first lot should cover Belesarius and Maurikian.
