How with the discovery of water on Mars change SciFi ????
Water on Mars? Great! Call me when they find ghosts…
And to actually reply to the question, I don’t think it makes any difference in a wargame, but it should impact on books and movies. I think it is also worth pointing out that the water that has been detected is probably undrinkable as is.
Yes – chilled brine. A bit like the water in a can of tuna in the fridge…
I still have a project of 28mm skirmish adventures on Mars in the 24th century, and some terrain already devised/built for it… and I had already included the existence of (not much, but some) water in it, so I’m not impressed (in game terms) by this discovery…
