It was a monster of a recording tipping in at nearly 4 hours, so rather than cut it down I’ve split it into two episodes so this one covers the usual Intro, Quiz and Room 101 sections, tune in next week for the main topic, PCP and Crackcon.

Just wanted to drop a note saying how much I enjoy your podcasts Ken, especially recently!  I just had eye surgery and was unable to use my eyes for anything.  So music and podcasts it was!  (I cleverly didn’t think about audiobooks, although I thought I’d be able to read or watch TV as only one eye was operated on.  But no, seems the brain likes to move both eyes around when focusing on things, which was painful).

Anyway, listened to a few of yours, and as always it was most enjoyable.

By the way, if you don’t mind me asking, as I’ve always been curious, I listen to your podcast on Spotify.  Do you get any sort of renumeration from them?  I certainly hope so.  They get money from me, and I can only imagine the amount of time and effort you put into making entertainment for everyone, so I hope they pass along some largesse.

Firstly I hope you have a speedy recovery. Its great to hear you enjoy the Podcast its been great fun doing it over the last 18 months.

Regards payment I don’t receive anything, in fact I pay to have the Podcast hosted by Podbean. I don’t have any sponsorship or Patreon in fact the only income I have ever received is the cash prize from the Little Wars TV Caesar Awards.

I could choose to Monetize the Podcast by having adverts but I really don’t want to do that. I’m happy just doing it for fun as a hobby, it allows me to do what I want when I want and choose my guests based on interest not on pulling power.
