GameCraft Miniatures have announced their first model in a new series of 28mm Japanese style buildings suitable for games like Test of Honour.
This first piece measures 5.6" x 5.9" x 4.0" (142mm x 150mm x 102mm) and is made primarily of 1/8" (3mm) MDF and the roof pieces are cast in resin.
The model very easy to assemble and paint, the raised timbers on the outside of the building (shown in red on the photo) can be painted separately and then applied eliminating any chance of mistakes in painting.

See, for me this is the kind of thing where MDF can excel.
That is very cool, love the separate nature of the red beams too.
All very clever.

Very nice looking building. There is quite a surge of Japanese buildings currently which is fantastic. Interesting mix of MDF and resin.
