A little tank, some light armour and some armoured cavalry.
Welcome all the Baccus weekly update. I’ve a few bits and pieces to cover, so let’s get the immediate issue out of the way with this week’s order number reached, which this time is #23454.
With this out of the way, it’s time for the new releases of the week, and yes, you’ve guessed it, there’s a bit of a World War 2 theme to them.
We’ll kick off with a couple of British light recce vehicles; a Morris mkII light recce car and for those who really value novelty over effectiveness, a Beaverette mkIII light recce car.
And new we move over to those pesky Germans who can now field a 10.5cm leFH18/40 field gun. For those who remember the sitcom ‘Allo Allo’, we have Lieutenant Gruber’s ‘little tank’ in the form of an Sdkfz 222.
As ever, we’ve more from where these came from, but other ranges are also taking shape. The various bits and pieces for the new Great North War Polish (‘Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth’ to be more accurate but less concise), range are coming together nicely. Here’s another teaser, this time of the new Panczerny codes.
The full range should be out towards the end of this month, or the beginning of March. We’ll have these with us at Vapnartak this weekend for those who would like to seem them ‘in the flesh’ so to speak.
Talking of Vapnartak, if you still want to place a pre-order then you’re too late. Don’t let it stop you dropping by the stand and having a chat. For those of you reading this from some far-flung corner of the world and cursing the fact that you don’t have shows like this where you live, then now is the time to book a holiday in the UK in early July so that you can attend this year’s Joy of Six show, and help us celebrate its tenth anniversary.
