Half Life: Alyx is out and it’s epic.

Seriously no longer “it’s good for VR” or “looks good for VR”

This is a fantastic game, easily as good as HL2 was back in the day. Early in the game, as part of the into, a combine  soldier aims at you and leans in, and the detail on the character is amazing.

Headcrabs are now big. Because when you’re in 3D, you suddenly understand they need to be bigger for them to actually fit over the heads of people.

You feel both bad and slightly disgusted when a poor larva is crushed in very gory detail to give you health.

Some times when you walk through a hallway you forget you’re in a game.
