    We revisited one of the scenarios from the BBB rulebook, Beaumont, which I hadn’t played for a decade or more. This is the prelude to Sedan. It’s a fighting withdrawal – always a fun challenge – but sadly we on the French side botched both the fighting and the withdrawing. Read about La Debacle here.

    Missed this. I was away in North Carolina when it was posted. Beaumont is tough for the French. Figuring out when to fight and when to run makes for unusual choices. I got thumped as the French during our Franco-Prussian War campaign years back. Details here.
