I’ve started working on a set of geomorphic tiles for playing 3m and 15mm sci-fi games on. Here are four of them arranged to make a 24″ x 24″ playing surface.
I’ve got six tiles finished and they can be rotated or swapped out to make a variety of different road layouts. It’s laid out on with 4″ grid spacing that will also allow me to easily plug-in forests, hills and buildings in different configurations. At 15mm it will a narrow two-lane roads in futuristic rural, residential area. At 3mm it will be multilane roads in a futuristic city scape. A few more pics and info can be found on the blog:

This looks good. I like the idea of modular tiles used to build up a board. It also saves having to lay down roads, and keeps things on one level without loads of steps of terrain, if that makes sense.
