Having painted several hundred plastic Spencer Smiths over the last year. I thought I would have a go at the metal ones.
Brigadier of light cavalry and general officer.
So I purchased mounted general Cumberland AS25 and Saxe AS24.
With an Irregular drummer.
A couple of more photo’s over on this site http://societyofgentlemengamers.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=10462
Beautiful result from a rather scarily blank canvas!
I think you must have a really clear idea in your mind of the figure you are trying to draw out of the basic metal to get that result. I am tempted to have a go myself just to prove I could not get anywhere near that level of quality.
Well done!
(The er, well built gentleman couldn’t be Peter Young could it?)

Cheers for your kind comment Guy, funny that I was thinking that when I finished painting the figure.
As Guy said, brilliant result from a scarily blank canvas. Love the results. Tons of character.
Cheers for you kind comment William.
