The title says it all. I’m planning to be there around about lunchtime. Who else will be there?
Sadly not due to circumstances beyond my control
Have a good day
Alan
Wrong continent. Seriously bummed! Hope it’s a great one though!
I so wish that I was on the same side of the Atlantic as Blast-Tastic, I would love to have such an event to go to.
Doubly wrong hemisphere. Someday, maybe. Sigh….
Blastastic is my favorite wanna-go con because it concentrates on macroscales.
We get slapped around, but we have a good time!
Had planned to – but child minding responsibilities have dictated otherwise
Hope it is going well.
FWIW I had planned on going but based on recent events in my personal life, running off to Bristol for the day would not have made for a good decision. So I had to stop myself.

Anything bigger than 3mm to Thaddeus.
Whereas everyone knows it is really just 2mm with scale creep.
The smaller the scale, the larger the scope. Hence “macro”
Not my thing & I think I’m further away than anyone else but I hope it goes well.

Went the day well?
Thanks to those that turned up.
Out of the 9 traders/exhibitors who were booked, 2 did not attend (for various reasons) which was a shame as that made a noticeable dent in the presence.
Also the people through the door were less than in the previous 3 years.
So it was smaller and quieter than ever, which was a bit of a shame to be honest.
Having said that, the people there seemed to enjoy it which was good.
It is kind of nice knowing that this was the last one and now the pressure is off me.
Blastastic is my favorite wanna-go con because it concentrates on macroscales.
Not sure I understand?
The only focus is sci-fi, there is no preferred size, in fact the games varied from 6mm to 54mm ish.
Blast-Tastic! went out with a bit of a whimper rather than a bang, but massive thanks to everyone that helped, maybe it was never meant to be?
