13/08/2022 at 15:54 #176891willzParticipantCheers jim, I think I will do a second battalion.
13/08/2022 at 16:51 #176892Jim WebsterParticipantThat’s going to look impressive. There isn’t a cavalry or dragoon regiment with similar colours?

13/08/2022 at 19:45 #176893willzParticipantI have just noticed the flags are missing a centre crown, looked at the wrong picture.ย I will rero fit at a later date.
I think there is Jim, I can’t think of its name at the moment.
13/08/2022 at 20:24 #176894Jim WebsterParticipantI never noticed the flag, but a cavalry unit in those colours would be a delight for the eyes ๐

Thanks for your kind comment Guy.ย The flags on the last two units are made by me using the SYW project data, copy, cut, paste, draw, sized to requirements and printed on cheap Tesco’s paper.

28/08/2022 at 20:16 #177396Jim WebsterParticipantIf you ever face an Ork army, you’ll outnumber them ๐
Nice as usual. When’s your next opportunity to get them into action?https://jimssfnovelsandwargamerules.wordpress.com/

I think garrison troops would stand up well against orcs, Cheers Jim.ย Not sure a lot of family stuff happening at the moment.
29/08/2022 at 05:58 #177401Jim WebsterParticipantAh well we want pictures when the big game happens ๐

01/09/2022 at 14:26 #177534willzParticipantFinished these Austrian grenadiers using Hat figures, the drummer is a Revell figure (got to touch up the drum stick) a generic unit.
No flag this week I wanted some grenadiers without flags.02/09/2022 at 06:46 #177556Jim WebsterParticipantThe figures do work well. How are the packs for unusable figures?

I prefer the Austrians to the Prussians boxes Jim, though in the Prussian marching box you get a shed load of spare hats.
These are from the Austrian command.ย With thanks to Plastic Soldier Review for the photos.

13/02/2023 at 12:52 #183349willzParticipantThese were inspired by Guy asking me to provide him with some spare figures for General officers WAS / SYW in 20mm using Airfix, Zvezda and Revell plastic figures.
First up is FTG, Von B and a French Lt-general.Soubise with trumpeter (imagination uniform on the trumpeter) and ADC.
Austrian senior officers / ADC’s.
Prussian infantry general and Cavalry general.
