ParticipantVery nice, a good way to get more armies at low cost and using a bit of innovation and imagination. This reminds of an article some years back in Miniature Wargames about armies made from hair rollers. I like you

ParticipantNice looking game. We too love OHSW, we’ve played several genres with them and it always gives a cracking game.

ParticipantTwice a week, with my mates. Boardgames Wednesday at a one of our houses, wargames on Thursday down the club. We’ve been doing this for 30+ years now.

ParticipantMagnificent. I do love Spencer-Smiths. You have made a lovely job of them.

ParticipantThank you for this. I was going to make my own last year for our desert games. But baulked because I couldn’t get the trench quite right. This helps a lot.

ParticipantI enjoyed that, thank you. Very good looking games.

ParticipantI’ve never heard of it, is it on Sky?

ParticipantI agree, it is a great little game. Played on a 2’x2′ or 3’x3′ mat, gets you straight into the action. I’ve played solo and co-op both good fun. Our games were set in our afro/middle east imagi-nation, Mowabe. The author has put a few play throughs on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad78G852f3o

ParticipantI thought I was under control. Then last weekend I completed a large order of 54mm ECW figures on impulse. Mind you since then I’ve been researching the war and which rules to use. Back in 2009 at Salute I saw a simply beautiful ECW game in the same scale and have had an itch ever since, but always put it off.

ParticipantMantic do an impressive range in their Terrain Crates.

ParticipantWhat a splendid looking game. I really like the Spencer-Smiths figures.

ParticipantRhoderic, we’ve found that Osprey’s Black Ops rules achieve that if you use the Stealth rules. They have a chart that is used to determine guards actions, the results have always felt logical to us.

ParticipantVery, very nice, a period I’ve always fancied doing but never got around to. Also I really like your canal, nice and neat.

ParticipantDungeon Saga by Mantic, looks quite promising. I don’t think it’s out just yey, but I’ve seen interesting reviews.

ParticipantVery nice!

ParticipantLovely pictures, inspiring.

ParticipantFor skirmish we use Songs of Blades & Heroes rules the gameplay really flows well and are suitable for our multi-player games.
For our massed fantasy battles we’ve concocted a dice driven version of Command & Colours/Battlelore.
