    Very creative, and you paint them to great effect. The first word that popped into my head was ‘kawaii’. They put me in mind of SpongeBob Squarepants and his friends. I think it’s the eyes. I could never wargame with them. I can’t imagine them stabbing or shooting each other, or even saying mean things, though I’m sure they’d put on a fine parade. I want them to engage in a colorful adventure that teaches young people a valuable lesson about accepting themselves and others…too bad I don’t have the talent to write one. But I’m okay with that.

    Thanks for the research, Mike. The Wild Republic bugs look good, but still expensive. I’ll have to check the dollar stores, a source I’ve neglected lately while I catch up on my backlog.

    So, those are 1/600 models? When I first saw them in your B-25 game thread I took them for 1/300. Very nice work, especially the canopy frames and ailerons.
