And the RDF pull it out of the bag!

But will there be time for victory sushi prior to evac?

Those are really really cool. I really like the ‘dual eye’ look you’ve given them. Great combat poses too.

    Curse those sneaky Junkers…

Wouldn’t want to be the commander if that op goes south!

This is all very interesting! I love the pics too.

The op to snatch the squealer in Anshan looks like it might be a hell of a slog for the battered RDF. But I’m rooting for them!

Thanks, it was not easy… I have been pondering my HOMEPAGE Is that gallery actually any good, or would I be better off having something else there?

As long as punters get to see some new stuff on a regular(ish) basis, I’d say it’s all good. I like galleries personally.

Now that is a bit tasty! And with the larger doorway, it’d work as a smaller structure for the 10 and 15mm heretics.

I once saw an epic diorama at GW Manchester that was based on a 6″ square. It showed a titan pushing it’s way through a ruined skyscraper, with spez murrins swarming all over it, the rubble, the buildings exposed floors. I’m sure there were APCs and dreadnoughts in there too.

I liked the vertical nature of it. It was pretty impressive!

So, don’t do that. It’s been done. OMG, get yer own idea AB!

An RDF assault on part of a junkers compound or a BPI installation might be pretty cool?

Trying to pre-empt or control potential arguments seems a fruitless exercise to me. By all means, the OP can stipulate some parameters (which generally happens anyway on forums), but enforcing them is difficult. I think a lot of forum users would cry ‘unfair’ if a mod ‘sided’ with the OP.

It would lead to a lot of the ‘editorial’ issues seen ‘elsewhere’. And that, kids, is not cool.

If I was to class my interests by genres, it would have to be –

    • Sci-Fi – KR16 and Rogue Trader Oldhammer 40k for the win

    • Moderns – current but imaginified – think Ghost Recon: Alpha shenanigans

    • Moderns/Post-War – 1960s Congo up to Cold War Gone Hot via the Falklands

    • Near Future – grungy Cybernonsense (Firewall 2136AD from Wessex games is superb; none of that Infinity tosh)

    • Post Apocalypse – Warlord 2085/Skank Game with EM4 goodness

I’m in it for the chicks.

Plus, I loved my snitchy soldiers (1/72 Airfix) and my Star Wars toys and Action Force. I’ve always drawn soldiers and battles, aliens and spacemen. Still do. Sometimes for monies.

GW’s 40k and Space Hulk plus lots of D&D and Traveller were my gateway drugs.

But I never grew up really. F**k yeah, space soldiers!

    Or, or…

    The Wargames Website

“The Gaming Alternative!” or “The Gamer’s Alternative!”

    EDIT: “Your Hobby Alternative!”

    Or “Welcome! We’re a BS-free zone!”

    The Wargames Website

    “Because Games Matter!”

Because they do matter to all of us. That’s why we play ’em.

Plus, it reinforces the idea of games mattering more than, say, politics, rules lawyering or nazis.

(Also, it sounds a bit like SIZE MATTERS!, which I’ve always liked).

Looking good. Been daydreaming about doing this myself since I saw Spacejacker’s layout. Can’t decide whether to go 15mm or upscale the concept to 28mm. I even considered 6mm!

Still deciding on whether to go Five Parsecs or not (sorry Ivan!) 🙂
