yeah don’t we all end up having multiple genres?

Not me, but I am not the norm.

Me neither, somehow managed to avoid it. Probably because I never finish doing things to what I have now. Thats just the one genre. Never seem to finish anything. Well, maybe a pack of biscuits, might finish that.

I’ll have a go. I’ll see if I can post the pics. I’m trying a different hosting image site thing. Don’t like photobucket anymore. So bare will me, everything is always trial and error with me.

OK have some links at the moment. Seem to be working. Now I’ll do the waffle.

    Sir Timothy

I’ve decided to write in character format for my entry. I like fluff and always thinking about background blurb. These one off character models really do that for me. Here, Sir Timothy talks about survival and how it becomes a state of mind. A glimpse into his darker side.

“the loss of an arm or an eye is just that. But a man’s sole, his spirt is what defines a person. You can’t break a man like a Juraped or sand slug. To break a man’s will you have to show him what a messy, terrible thing war is and show him that you relish in it. Shoot to wound, kill the wounded, burn them. Remove what their preconception of what a man is and you become their monster. When they fear you: you become stronger, better. But never forget, it’s a display, a facade. Like a lions roar or a razor hounds wail. If you loss yourself in the display. You become weaker, reduced and that could be fatal”.

Shooting is my other hobby, next to SF wargaming.

Clay pigeon shooting when I have the time. Also looking at practical shotgun, where you shoot targets against the clock. Fast loading is the order of the day. But requires a section 1 firearms licence, which I can’t be bothered with right now.

Some really nice stuff you have there. There’s a bit of all sorts going on. SF, old West,  fantasy etc….

    <hr />

6mm figures do vary a fair bit. You expect to pay a bit more for your models. Chunky and packed with detail, so good quality overall and these are no different. Nice models.

I think the price is really good, especially 3 packs for a fiver.

The biggest thing about any solo play is being honest with yourself. After all you know what the enemy is up to.

Both those rules do seem to work solo. Can’t really say much about other rule sets.ni should really try a few more.

Hi there, welcome to the mad house. Glad you’re liking your dip into 6mm SF. I’m a bit of a fan of Fubar and KR16. Can’t remember how I got into 6mm, but do remember moving over to Fubar after Mike’s influence.

So I completely blame Michael for my 6mm KR16 addition.

Haven’t been too active lately, what with work and all. Thought I’ll catch up on some 6mm SF goodness and find this.

I’m liking this a lot, maybe a next project after what I’m doing at the moment. As AB said, you don’t have to think too hard to come up with scenarios for this unique bit of scenery.

I must say I’m seeing some good stuff on here. I’ll have a butchers at your blog later, as this is interesting.

Anshan antics? I too am wondering. I’ve been quite inspired recently by events on here. So much so I’m continuing with my ongoing project.

Just another advantage of 6mm…. you can build stupidly big stuff and still game with it.

Not just that but also SF in general, allows you to use your imagination and allow for big stuff. Although I would never throught that big. But it works and looks great.

Cool, so how long were you painting all those Stricken for? I’ve had enough painting figures after the second!

Can’t say that I’m that familiar with Horizon Wars, looks interesting and some nice scenery and fluff too.

Makes me want to start painting up the couple of Mechs I have. Purchased them at Blast Tastic last year and done nothing with them.

It seems I have a lot of catching up to do.

Really great stuff there, certainly going to nick a few ideas there. Especially the flooring.
